Oscillography – Fibonacci Generator (2)
The patterns are synthesized with a Lagged Fibonacci Generator (LFG) circuit built with discrete logic chips (CD4000 CMOS). The LFG is an algorithm sometimes used in cryptography to generate encryption keys. I’m exploring it as a pattern generator for algorithmic art and music. Although cryptographers like the LFG because its output is similar to white noise, I find that through creative electronic filtering, the intricate details of its cyclic patterns become visible.

Thank you for providing this. It is beautiful.
If you ever decide to release “Thirteen Meditations on the Meaning of the Tao”, I would be very interested in knowing about it.
I like the frequency noises, brings you into a state of tranquility.
amazing. i could watch hours of this material.
I love it where can i buy such i thing ?
you mean the whole setup? Its been dismantled. I might make PCBs somewhere down the road…
This is really interesting, I take it you fed signals into the X and Y channels of the scope, what about a Z channel (beam intensity)? Was the signal generated digitally or did you use some kind of analogue synthesizer?
This is really cool.
Thanks for posting . . .
I wish I could get the Z-channel working on the scope. I’m not sure what kind of input its looking for…
the signals are generated with a digital circuit I designed, then converted to analog and processed thru FX.
thanks for watching…
Dood take some E and start raving…Shit be tight.
Am i the only one that can see a face in this?
aww the ringing in my head from this annoying sound. staring at them moving images will get you hypnotized. good luck being zombies. this crap is not for me.
too bad for you, you’re missing the science fun behind it… but you’re right with the sound ^^
so you saw it too?!?that was scary i saw all sorts of skulls and faces. realy scary faces, they looked almost intelegent.
Me saw too lolz.
@bleachsanchoblastk try blinkyng fast you ll see more…
